What is a fantasy novel? A fantasy novel is a novel which tells of extraordinary happenings that are not usually present in reality.
By definition: "A critical characteristic is that the world features some difference from Earth that is not a result of science or technology, but rather the result of magic or other anomalous phenomena."
Fantasy novels usually includes magic, quests and interesting characters that will keep the reader anxious to know what happens next or how it the novel will end.
Examples of a good fantasy novel that I came across recently is Pendragon. It tells of how a guy named Bobby Pendragon is taken by his uncle to a new world, in halla(the universe). He quest and sole task is to be the saviour of all the other territories and defeat a nefarious character by the name on Saint Dane. It is really a good example of a incredible fantasy novel. Try reading it for yourself!

Another good book is "Dragon Spell". It's Christian fantasy. The term Christian doesn't necessarily appeal to some people, but this book is a must-read. It's a series of 5 books I believe, and I love each and every one of them!
